• Detroit progressive rock band Tiles has contributed their song “Hide & Seek” (from 2008’s “Fly Paper” CD) to A&E TV’s hit series “Dog the Bounty Hunter” – with heart-stopping adventures of real-life bounty hunter Duane Chapman and his loyal band of family and colleagues. • After a long search progressive metallers Sun Caged has found their new bass player in Daniel Kohn who is also a member of the German Progressive Metal band Vanilla Rex. His first shows with the band will be the two shows as support of the Swedish band Pain Of Salvation in December 2009.
• "Scandalous", the new album from DEADWALK — the Montreal, Quebec, Canada-based hardcore/metal outfit which now features ex-TOO PURE TO DIE frontman Greg Kepka — is being streamed in its entirety on the band's MySpace page. • Swiss pagan horde ELUVEITIE will release its third album, "Everything Remains", on February 19, 2010 via Nuclear Blast Records. • Israel's progressive folk metal masters ORPHANED LAND will release their highly anticipated fourth studio opus, "The Never Ending Way Of ORwarriOR", in Europe on January 25, 2010 and in the U.S. on February 9 via Century Media Records. Mixed by Steven Wilson (PORCUPINE TREE, OPETH), who is also responsible for several keyboard parts on the new CD, the effort is a sophisticated concept album which takes ORPHANED LAND's unique brand of exotic, heavy music to soaring new heights in terms of complexity and catchiness.

• BARONESS sees the premiere of their first video from "Blue Record," for the track "A Horse Called Golgotha," online now via MySpace Music. The "A Horse Called Golgotha" video was shot in the band’s hometown of Savannah, Georgia with director Joshua Green for The Distillery Collective. BARONESS worked with Greene previously on the band’s "Wanderlust" video from "Red Album" that can be viewed here.

• SHADOW GALLERY, widely considered a major and innovative force within the realms of progressive rock and metal, recently filmed a video for the song "Gold Dust". The track comes off the group's sixth studio effort, "Digital Ghosts", whcih was released on October 26 in Europe and November 3 in North America via InsideOut Music
